The Black Swan Prize is Australia’s the third richest art prize and attracts hundreds of entries from across Australia. The Pre-Selection Panel had a tough job with the standard of this year’s competition being very high.
As a WA artist who made it to one of the final selection rounds by the Panel but just missed out as a 2018 Finalist at AGWA, your work is one of only twenty works which has been selected for the Salon des Refusés.
The Salon des Refusés selection allows the public to experience the full variety of works submitted and has become a highly regarded feature of the Black Swan Prize program, held in Brookfield Place’s stunning Tower 2 Foyer.
